The Buffalo Bills were hit hard with the injury bug at running back last year, but if that happens again this year perhaps Ronald Darby can serve as an emergency back. Before the Bills and Florida State, Darby was quite the two-way player for Potomac High School.
Darby's main positions were at running back and defensive back, but he also handed return duties for the Wolverines. The Bills defensive back was a part of a dominant defense that only allowed 82 points in 2011. That season, no team scored more than 15 points against Potomac High School and they recorded four shutouts. In 2011, the Wolverines started the year 0-2 before rattling off eight straight wins. Their season ended with a 14-6 loss to Westlake.
The video above comes from Darby's junior year. According to his Seminoles.com bio, Darby rushed for 1,329 yards and 23 touchdowns that season on offense. Defensively, Darby recorded three interceptions and eight passes defensed.null
