According to KATV, Williams was taken into custody and booked around 3:20 a.m. by Washington County Sheriffs.
He'll be given a hearing today at 10:30 AM per KATV.
The Bills released the following statement on Williams:
“We are aware of the report and are in the process of gathering information. We have notified the league office of the report under the rules of the NFL Personal Conduct Policy.”
Williams saw first team snaps at Buffalo's OTAs due to injuries, but he looked so impressive that some believed he could compete for Buffalo's No. 2 running back job against Karlos Williams. Buffalo has their starting back in place with LeSean McCoy, but the former Arkansas Razorback running back will be competing for snaps on offense against the likes of Karlos Williams, Mike Gillislee, James Wilder Jr., and Dan "Boom" Herron at training camp.null
