The NFL Fantasy Live crew is unveiling their Top 50 Fantasy Players on the NFL Network and LeSean McCoy came in at No. 26.
According to the media release, the Buffalo Bills running back had 146.7 fantasy points and averaged 12.23 fantasy points per game in 2015.
In his first season with the Bills, McCoy only appeared in 12 games. Over that time, McCoy was still able to go over 1,000 total yards on the season by running for 895 yards and recording 32 receptions for 292 yards. He had five total touchdowns in 2015.
Buffalo finished the 2015 season with 509 total run plays and finished first in the league with 152 rushing yards per game. If McCoy can stay healthy, he'll see the bulk of Buffalo's carries which makes him valuable to fantasy football teams.
Health is the biggest concern with McCoy entering the season as the 28 year old has plenty of mileage on his legs. From a fantasy perspective, the only other concern is whether or not McCoy will handle goal-line opportunities. Karlos Williams had seven rushing touchdowns as a rookie in 2015 and may take touchdowns away from McCoy. If you draft McCoy, you may want to handcuff him with Williams.
