Richie Incognito named most underrated Buffalo Bills player

Incognito is coming off of an outstanding 2015 season.

Few players can miss over one full season of football and come back better than ever. Yet, that's exactly what happened in 2015 for Richie Incognito

In an effort to upgrade their offensive line, the Buffalo Bills took a chance on Incognito. The left guard rewarded the Bills by being one of the NFL's best guards in 2015. Incognito was solid in pass protection, but run blocking was Incognito's greatest area of strength last season. Buffalo would utilize Incognito often on pull blocks and by the end of the season, he had played a large role in the Bills leading the league in rushing. Pro Football Focus recognized Incognito as the second best guard in the league and the NFL recognized the left guard by sending him to the Pro Bowl.

Despite these accolades, Pete Prisco of CBS Sports recently named Incognito as Buffalo's most underrated Bills player.

He came back after sitting out the 2014 season because of Bullygate to have one of his best seasons. He is a mauler in the run game who will fight to the whistle and beyond. The Bills were smart to bring him back.

You could argue that there are other Bills who may be more underrated, but Prisco has one thing correct; Buffalo was very smart to bring Incognito back in 2016.
