Opting for an offensive lineman, not Henson

As March 3rd nears, the Bills interest in Henson declines, sources say an offensive lineman could be the first the Bills sign. Also news about the Bills interest in Free Agent cornerbacks.

The Buffalo Bills were interested in Drew Henson just two weeks ago, however, that interest has declined due to overpriced contract negotiations. Donahoe has said he will not pay Henson like a 1st round draft selection.

Our sources have told us that the Bills are highly interested in an offensive lineman to replace Ruben Brown. Right now, Damien Woody and Orlando Pace are two linemen the Bills are considering. Woody also has interest coming from the Miami Dolphins. Pace wants to return to St. Louis and is currently negotiating with them, however he may become open to the market sometime next week if a deal isn't struck. Right now it would seem logical that the Bills draft either an offensive lineman or a defensive lineman. Even if the Bills draft an offensive lineman, sources suspect they would also sign a free agent offensive lineman.

The Bills are also not looking to re-sign Antoine Winfield, however, Ahmed Plummer, Shawn Springs, and Fernando Bryant are three names fans could be reading about within the next week. Look for the Bills to definitely sign a free agent corner, rather than draft one.
