Bills contact WR Darrell Jackson's agent

We have learned that the Buffalo Bills have contacted the agent of Unrestrictred Free Agent Darrell Jackson.

Eric Moulds said earlier in the week he was hoping the Bills would find a veteran speed receiver and it appears the team listened to him. As the Buffalo Bills have contacted Seattle Seahawks' WR Darrell Jackson agent.

Jackson is a talented WR who has been a very productive receiver since being drafted in the 3rd Round of the 2000 NFL Draft. Over the span of four seasons he's gained two 1,000 yard seasons and averaged over 15 yards on 253 career receptions.

Though Jackson has many suitors as he's expected to visit Denver and San Francisco next week after meeting with the Lions earlier this week. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have also expressed interest in him since it appears they can't work out a contract with Joey Galloway whom they were hoping to acquire in exchange for fellow wide out Keyshawn Johnson earlier this week.

Jackson would be a good fit opposite Moulds as he is used to sharing the spotlight having played alongside Koren Robinson the last three seasons.

Though with so many teams vyeing for him his price might be out of the Bills range but to quote Tom Donahoe "stay tuned" to Bills Report for more news on this player and all the free agent news pertaining to the Buffalo Bills this offseason.
