Robinson to visit in April

The Bills are serious about signing veteran Tennessee Titans weakside linebacker Eddie Robinson. The team will meet with Robinson the first week of April. Buffalo has been interested in Robinson since the free agency period began, but this would be his first visit to Buffalo.

Robinson, 31, is a cerebral player who has a good relationship with Gregg Williams. He played for Williams from 1998 to 2000 when Williams was the Titans' defensive coordinator.

Overall, he has played in 159 of 160 possible NFL games in his 10-year NFL career, starting 148 of them. He's been remarkably injury-free. In 1996-'97, Robinson played with the Jaguars, but was released because they felt he struggled vs. the run.

Cleveland is also interested in Robinson and the Titans still are as well – albeit for a reduced rate.
