Bills in NFL Europe update

All you NFL Europe League fans: Keep your eyes on the Amsterdam Admirals this spring for an early look at some Bills prospects.

The teams have left for Europe, and all seven players the Bills assigned to the league have made NFLEL rosters. The season begins Saturday, April 13, and concludes with World Bowl X Saturday, June 22.

When the six teams held scrimmages over the weekend at the Tampa training camp, quarterback David Dinkins and wide receiver Reggie Allen performed well for the Admirals against the Barcelona Dragons. Dinkins completed seven of 12 passes for 60 yards, and Allen caught a 17-yard touchdown pass from the Titans' Kevin Daft.

The other Bills playing in Europe are running back Curtis Alexander, wideout Scott Keys, defensive tackle DeVonte Peterson, middle linebacker Jimmy Robinson and safety Chad Sears.

Some former Bills had a good day when Berlin scrimmaged Scotland. Tim Hasselbeck, now with the Eagles, threw a 26-yard touchdown pass for Berlin, and the Claymores' Scott Dreisbach completed six of eight for 56 yards. His teammate with Scotland, wideout Kwame Cavil, caught a 17-yard scoring pass from Shane Stafford. Despite that catch, the Claymores placed Cavil on their practice squad.
