Shout! goes deep into mini-camp

Mike Williams is playing right tackle at mini-camp. While most every other media outlet was saying the Bills got a tremendous left tackle in the draft, I said he would probably be a right tackle for like the longest time. Just take a look at the Shout! Internet archives of a few weeks ago, you'll see that I said Williams would most likely play right tackle for the Bills this season.

Told you so. Stick with Shout! We're awesome.

Keeping Williams at right tackle makes a lot of sense. He's comfortable there, he played three years of college football there, so why change it? If he's going to make an impact to the Buffalo line this year, he will make it most at right tackle because he knows it …

Left end Kendrick Office saw some action at right end today. Right end is usually reserved for the better pass rushers. This will be something to watch because it could be an indication that Office has surpassed Erik Flowers in terms of value to the team.

Flowers was mostly at left end, though he did see a snap at right end too.

Speaking of ends, the No. 1 line the Bills are using at camp features left end Flowers, strongside tackle Leif Larsen, weakside tackle Ron Edwards and right end Bryce Fisher. If Flowers continues playing at left end, he's going to have a hard time flourishing. He'll get engulfed by the tackle and tight end, even though it appears he's put on weight to his lower body …

Third-round pick Ryan Denney is wearing No. 90 and from afar looks exactly like Phil Hansen in his build. At first glance, you'll swear it's Hansen. Hopefully, he can play like Hansen too, stopping the run and occasionally getting up field for a sack.
