Bills add WR Andre Davis

The Buffalo Bills announced that WR Andre Davis who spent three years with Cleveland then saw limited duty last season with New England, has agreed to sign with the team.

Terms of the contract were for one-year, $1.3 million. Davis will have an $800,000 base and a $500,000 signing bonus.

Davis was the Brown's 2nd round selection (47th overall) in the 2002 NFL draft. For his career he has 102 receptions, 1602 yards, and 14 touchdowns.

Meanwhile, Levy reiterated that he still wants to retain receiver Eric Moulds.

"We'd like to retain Eric and we're proceeding on that basis right now," Levy said. "I think he's got a lot left in him. We hope we can keep him."

The Bills have been active in the first 36 hours of the delayed free agency period, signing Redskins TE Robert Royal to a 5-year, $10 million contract. The Bills then made a bigger splash in the free agency pool by grabbing Colts' DT Larry Tripplett to a 5-year $18 million contract.

The Bills continue to be active, with published reports that QB Josh McCown (Cardinals), DT Ryan Pickett (Rams), and WR David Givens having been contacted by the club to set up visits.
