Moulds, Texans Agree on Deal, Await Trade

Buffalo Bills WR Eric Moulds has agreed in principle to a 4-year deal worth 14 million dollars with the Houston Texans, according to ESPN's Len Pasquarelli. The deal is said to include a 5-million dollar signing bonus.

Now it is up to the Texans and Bills to settle on trade compensation. The Bills were thought to have been seeking a 4th round draft selection for their 10-year veteran. The Texans are thought to have counter-offered with a 5th round pick, the first pick of that round.

The Bills have been unsuccessful in trying to retain Eric Moulds at a reduced contract, and have allowed his representatives to seek a trade for the former pro bowl WR. Five teams have expressed interest, most notably Philadelphia and Houston.
