'Not apologizing for anything'

Strongside linebacker Keith Newman doesn't care that the Dolphins were missing quarterback Jay Fiedler, wide receivers Oronde Gadsden and Chris Chambers and left tackle Mark Dixon. He says anyone who's doing so is missing the point of the Bills' big win over Miami.

The game featured two NFL teams, he says, regardless of who was available and who was missing.

"When you get a win, you don't apologize for beating whoever's out there," Newman said. "Last year, nobody was apologizing for beating us. We had some guys who got let go because of the salary cap issues, or we had some injuries – particularly Sam (Cowart) early in the season. And then Rob (Johnson) got hurt. Nobody apologized for beating us then. A win is a win in this league and you take them any way they come."
