Bills' Preseason Schedule Released

Western New York Bills fans will only get to see their team once in four preseason games.

The beginning of the end may read August 14, 2008.

That's when the Bills kick off their eight-game Toronto package, which runs over the next five years.

Since the team announced its plans to play games in Toronto, speculation about the franchise moving south of the border has run rampant. There is no telling which direction the Bills may go once owner Ralph Wilson passes. How successful this preseason game will certainly play into the team's future destination.

Buffalo will play a "home game" against Pittsburgh at the Rogers Centre in Toronto on Thursday, Aug. 14 at 7:30 p.m.

"Our organization is excited about coming to Toronto to play in the inaugural game of our Toronto Series on August 14th against the Steelers," said Bills Chief Operating Officer Russ Brandon. "Our games against the Steelers have always been hard-fought, competitive contests and this will be an excellent match up for our fans as we kick off our Toronto Series."

Buffalo's other preseason headliner is a nationally televised, Sunday night game at Indianapolis. The game will air at 8 p.m. on NFL Network at the new Lucas Oil Stadium.

Buffalo's first true home game of the season isn't until Aug. 28, when the Bills host Detroit.

Here's the schedule:

Aug. 7-10 (no official day yet) @ Washington TBD (WKBW-TV)

Aug. 14 vs. Pittsburgh 7:30 pm (in Toronto) (WKBW-TV)

Aug. 24 @ Indianapolis 8 pm (NFL Network)

Aug. 28 vs. Detroit 6:30 pm (WKBW-TV)
