Training camp days set

The Bills will play seven night games this summer for training camp, including one on a Sunday. Once again, they'll practice at St. John Fisher in Rochester.

The Buffalo Bills' road back to the playoffs begins July 25.

For the ninth consecutive year, the Bills will hold their training camp at St. John Fisher College in Pittsford, N.Y. The state-of-the-art facilities and FieldTurf carpet have been a convenient home for the Bills, although the team hasn't reached the playoffs since moving from Fredonia to Pittsford.

"We'll script the first 10 to 12 days of the camp before we get there," Jauron said. "After that point through experience we've found that things change. You want to look at some things a little more, some things a little less. You throw out some things."

The training camp schedule features seven night practices – all in pads. The night dates are July 29, 31 and Aug. 5, 7, 11 and 17. The last night practice comes on a Sunday, the first Sunday night practice ever for Buffalo.

In all, there are 15 practices in pads.

"Obviously they'll be hitting, not much totally live stuff," said Jauron. "We don't cut each other. We don't tackle and take backs to the ground. We don't do that stuff, but the pads will be on and we'll do tackling practice on dummies and each other."
