Injury Update

After what appeared to be a wily game of possum, in which the Bills and Jets didn't report their injuries for Sunday's game until early Wednesday afternoon, the injury report finally came out at around 1:20 p.m. ET.

Only Bills middle linebacker London Fletcher appeared on it with a banged knee, though he is probable. If he is not available, then the Bills would rely on DaShon Polk.

As for the Jets, starting right guard Randy Thomas is questionable with an ankle injury. Backup guard Dave Szott was also listed as questionable with a knee injury. He has been on the physically unable to perform list all year.

Running back Curtis Martin, who has been hampered by an ankle injury suffered in the opener against Buffalo, is back running at full strength …

The Bills placed defensive end Marcus Jones, whom they signed on Monday, to the reserved injured list. They also activated tight end Brady McDonnell to the 53-man roster and had wide receiver Clarence Coleman take his place on the practice squad.
