Edwards knocked out with concussion

QB Trent Edwards went down on the third play of the game during Sunday's game against Arizona.

QB Trent Edwards was taken out of the game Sunday after suffering a concussion. He was taken into the locker room and did not return for the rest of the game.

Edwards was hit hard by Arizona safety, Adrian Wilson and was on the ground for several minutes before being helped to the sideline. Backup QB JP Losman entered the game for the injured Edwards.

The second-year quarterback has been the main reason for the team's 4-0 start this season by orchestrating three come-from-behind victories. Before his injury, Edwards completed three of three passes for 18 yards.

It's unclear how long Edwards will be out because of the injury, but the Bills benefit from having their bye week this coming week.

Bills safety Ko Simpson also left Sunday's game with an injury. He did not return because of an injured hamstring. George Wilson came in to replace Simpson.
