Youboty placed on IR; Bills sign LB Lehman

The Bills were bit by the injury bug again and were forced to put CB Ashton Youboty on injured reserved to make room for veteran LB Teddy Lehman.

Cornerback Ashton Youboty was placed on the season-ending injured reserve list Friday due to an on-going foot injury. The Bills needed to make room on the roster to sign veteran linebacker Teddy Lehman out of free agency.

Lehman comes to the Bills after stints with the Detroit Lions and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He spent four seasons with the Lions before signing with the Bucs in March as a free agent. He was released by the team in July and then was signed with the Lions again before being released at the end of training camp.

The loss of Youboty comes amid of a tidal wave of injuries for the Bills. He joins linebackers Angelo Crowell, John DiGiorgio and Alvin Bowen on the injured reserved list. Head coach Dick Jauron has already said that four others would not be participating in Sunday's game at New England. DE Aaron Schobel, SS Donte Whitner, WR Josh Reed and center Brad Butler have all been ruled out.
