Buffalo needs firepower. Point, blank. And there's no better source to scour through than Southern California. The past half-decade has produced Reggie Bush, LenDale White, Matt Leinart, Dwayne Jarrett, Fred Davis, Steve Smith, Keary Colbert, Matt Cassel, Mike Williams, Carson Palmer and Justin Fargas.

Yeah, not a bad place to start.

Task No. 1 this coming off-season will be to surround Trent Edwards with more veteran and young talent to work with. James Hardy has been a bust so far. There isn't a vertical threat at tight end. The WR corps lacks any semblance of a go-to possession receiver.

The Bills will almost certainly dip into the draft for a couple playmakers to mold within the fabric of Turk Schonert's offense. USC boasts several possible weapons. Buffalo may be closely analyzing wide receiver Patrick Turner who has loads of talent but has needed to fend off an underachiever-label. With a strong performance against Cal, Turner may make his way onto the Bills' Big Board. And who knows? The Bills may be throwing around Sanchez's name for kicks. If Edwards continues to struggle this season, the never-ending quarterback question will arise for yet another off-season. This draft is stock-full of quarterback prospects, including Sanchez if he declares a year early.
