Jennings 'day by day'

Just two names were on the Bills' injury list for Sunday's home game against the Chargers. Head coach Gregg Williams said both starting left offensive tackle Jonas Jennings and backup linebacker Dominique Stevenson would be out of practice Wednesday and "day by day" after that.

Williams said he had spoken in error Monday about Jennings' injury. "He doesn't have a high ankle sprain. He has a regular ankle sprain and a little bit of an arch sprain. We'll take him day by day and hopefully get him out on the field tomorrow." Marcus Price would take Jennings' place if he can't start against San Diego.

Stevenson suffered a mild concussion Sunday at New England. "He had a little bit of a headache. He's day by day," Williams said ...

The Bills made a move on their practice squad, signing offensive lineman Joey Hollenbeck. He played four seasons at Washington State, then joined the Rams last spring as an undrafted free agent. They released him before beginning training camp.

Hollenbeck replaced  Michael Early, claimed by the Vikings.
