Denver Broncos defensive tackle Trevor Pryce was involved in a domestic disturbance incident at his home on Saturday, resulting in the arrest of his former girlfriend, Fawn Cadessia Jones.
The arrest was made after Pryce telephoned police asking that they remove the 25-year old Jones from his house. A verbal altercation incurred and Jones subsequently grabbed the cell phone, disconnecting it while Pryce was talking to an Aurora police dispatcher.
Arapahoe County sheriff's deputies issued a summons charging Jones with misdemeanor wiretapping.
According to Undersheriff Grayson Robinson, the incident involved no physical altercation.
