May 16, 2003 - The Denver Broncos Friday signed wide receiver Darcey Levy, Head Coach Mike Shanahan announced. Levy, 6-2, 198 pounds, originally signed with the Cincinnati Bengals on April 23, 2002 before being released. He was signed to Pittsburghís practice squad and then to their active roster on January 16, 2003. Levy was allocated to NFL Europeís Amsterdam Admirals and cut one month into the NFLE season. Born July 5, 1979 in Aurora, Colo., Levy lettered two years at the University of Pittsburgh (2000-01), but began his career in 1997 at Notre Dame as an running back. He switched to wide receiver before his senior year at Pitt.
