Von Miller Named AFC DPoM

With an absolutely dominant October, Von Miller has been named the AFC's Defensive Player of the Month.

Von Miller is a special player. A once in a generation stud. In 47 career games, he's notched 44 sacks. Think about that. In the month of October, he added 7 sacks, to go along with 14 tackles.

This prolific production has earned him the AFC's Defensive Player of the Month for October. Somewhere, J.J. Watt is gnashing his teeth. The NFL's Defensive Player of the Year award will likely come down to these two players.

This is the second time Miller has won DPoM honors, a feat that only he and Champ Bailey have accomplished in the history of the Denver Broncos franchise.

The Broncos have gone 4-0 in the month of October. At 6-1 on the season, the team has already endured the worst of their schedule, and emerged relatively unscathed, with just one loss.

Next up are the New England Patriots. In his career, Miller has faced the Patriots 3 times in the regular season. He's managed to notch 4 sacks, 2 forced fumbles and has scored one defensive touchdown, on a fumble recovery. Miller likes playing the Patriots.
