Denver Broncos Partnering With UCHealth

The Broncos are partnering with UCHealth of Colorado, which will include the naming rights to their new practice facility in Englewood, Colo.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo.—In the event that the Denver Broncos play many close games this season, they want to ensure their fans have healthy hearts to cheer them on through the fourth quarter. Thus, they have teamed up with UCHealth of the University of Colorado to encourage and improve the health of fans throughout the Rocky Mountain region.

Per a team press release Thursday, the two entities have entered into a long-term partnership agreement, resulting in the Broncos naming their practice facility in Englewood the “UCHealth Training Center.”

Broncos President and CEO Joe Ellis stated, “We are very excited to team with UCHealth in this very important partnership. We are all committed to helping communities in Colorado and through this relationship we'll encourage fans to be active and focus on their health.”

Beyond having naming rights on the practice facility, UCHealth will also be a founding partner of the Broncos Health & Wellness Expo, which is to be launched during the weekend of the Broncos Back To Football 7K Race September 5th and 6th.

The partnership also entails breast cancer awareness events, health screenings for Broncos fans and marketing opportunities both inside and outside Sports Authority Field at Mile High. UCHealth will also sponsor the Denver Bronco' injury report, commencing with the 2016 season.

UCHealth President and CEO Elizabeth Concordia stated, “Our mission is to improve lives and to advance health in the communities we serve. This partnership with one of the nation's elite sports organizations creates a strong team that can advance the culture of good health and generates an opportunity for us to engage with people in Colorado and beyond.”

UCHealth is based in Colorado and consists of a nonprofit system of five hospitals, more than 100 clinics and 15,400 employees. It’s large network of providers is focused on providing the best health care, close to home, for patients in Colorado, southern Wyoming and western Nebraska.
