The 2015 Denver Broncos debut at home this weekend, as they'll play host to the San Francisco 49ers. The two teams have practiced together this week, which should make for some compelling action on Saturday.
Head coach Gary Kubiak talked about why NFL teams like to test their mettle against another opponents in preseason practices.
“It’s different because you’re so used to working against each other and each other’s schemes," Kubiak said. "All of a sudden, you see something different. I think it’s good.”
Alas, fans won't get to see the newest Bronco Evan Mathis Saturday night, as Kubiak stated Wednesday that the two-time Pro Bowler won't play. However, fans can expect to see a lot of the first-teamers, as the third preseason game is typically the 'dress rehearsal' for the regular season.
Here's how you can watch the game.
You can subscribe to the NFL's Game Pass and stream all preseason games. This is a phenomenal service and comes with a seven-day free trial.
