A Recent Report Says That Denver Broncos Rookie Linebacker Shane Ray Will Miss 4-6 Weeks With A MCL Sprain

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport says Broncos rookie outside linebacker Shane Ray will miss the next 4-6 weeks with a MCL sprain. MHH Publisher Chad Jensen Reports

UpdateGary Kubiak confirmed Monday that Shane Ray indeed has a MCL sprain.

“Shane does have a sprained MCL," Kubiak said. "That is correct. I think that's been reported. We're hoping that this is a short-term deal. It looks like it has got an excellent chance to be. I would just say that we think he's lucky. We'll be day-to-day right now. He's going to miss a little bit of time, but hopefully it's not going to be too much."
