MHH Fantasy: Studs & Duds, Week 11

MHH resident fantasy pro, Khalid Alshami, returns to help you set your Week 11 lineups.

Stud of the Week: Brock Osweiler at Chicago Bears

Starting things off with a bang this week, and why not? Brock is tailor-made for the Broncos offense, has a full complement of weapons and can use his legs to do good things. If you need a QB this week, Brock (on his birthday) is your guy.

Derek Carr at Detroit Lions

Carr is in line for a bounce-back game against the awful Detroit Lions defense. Don’t let last week fool you, the Packers offense has struggled mightily the past three weeks.

Marcus Mariota at Jacksonville Jaguars

The rookie seemingly follows a good game with a bad game and a bad game with a good game, and the cycle has held true all season. A matchup against the Jaguars defense will likely continue the trend.

Dud of the Week: Joe Flacco vs. St. Louis Rams

Flacco has been very good this season considering his weapons, but against a very good Rams defense he is in store for a letdown.

Matt Hasselbeck at Atlanta Falcons

Surprisingly, the Falcons are the third-best fantasy defense against opposing quarterbacks — not a great way to be reintroduced into the starting lineup.

Andy Dalton at Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals defense is good, and bad Red Ryder BB Gun finally reared his ugly head on Sunday.

Stud of the Week: Charcandrick West at San Diego Chargers

Jamaal Charles who? West is quickly making Charles expendable.

Darren McFadden at Miami Dolphins

McFadden finds himself here in back-to-back weeks, only this week he should have Tony Romo back at quarterback to take some of the pressure off the run game and boost his value as a pass catcher.

Lamar Miller vs. Dallas Cowboys

Miller has struggled on the ground as of late but is still finding ways to score as a receiver. The Cowboys represent a great matchup for the Dolphins run game.

Dud of the Week: T.J. Yeldon vs Tennesse Titans

On a short week, coming out of a walking boot, against a tough defense? I’d sit him.

Doug Martin at Philadelphia Eagles

Without starting QB Sam Bradford, I expect the Eagles defense to step up against the Buccaneers at home. Martin will find tough sledding on Sunday.

Giovani Bernard and Jeremy Hill at Arizona Cardinals

This workload split is killing fantasy owners around the country. Unfortunately, it continues to look bleak on the road against a tough defense.

Stud of the Week: Dez Bryant at Miami Dolphins

Bryant is in store for a huge game with the return of his quarterback.

Mike Evans at Philadelphia Eagles

The Eagles gave up a ton of money for Byron Maxwell and he has rewarded them with awful play. Evans has to be licking his chops at the opportunity to torch Maxwell Sunday.

Stevie Johnson vs. Kansas City Chiefs

The Chiefs Week 10 performance wasn’t about the defense playing well, as much as it was about the Broncos QB playing horrendously.

Dud of the Week: Alshon Jeffery vs Denver Broncos

Aqib Talib, coming off of suspension, will be motivated to have a big game and will likely erase Jeffery from the field.

T.Y. Hilton at Atlanta Falcons

Hilton had 15.5 points in Weeks 4 and 5, with Hasselback under center.

Danny Amendola at Buffalo Bills

A popular waiver add this week with the prevailing thought being that Amendola will step into Julian Edelman's role in the offense. The largest benefactor of the injury will be Brandon LaFell.

Stud of the Week: Eric Ebron vs. Oakland Raiders

Matthew Stafford has been playing better as of late, Ebron is now fully healthy and the Raiders are awful at defending opposing tight ends.

Coby Fleener at Atlanta Falcons

With Hasselback at quarterback, Fleener’s role in the offense should increase to help alleviate pressure off of the 40-year-old gunslinger

Zach Ertz vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Ertz is due for a touchdown. He is being targeted a ton and has been steadily contributing the past 4 games.

Dud of the Week: Tyler Eifert at Arizona Cardinals

I have it on good authority that Eifert believes lathering his gloves with butter will help his game.

Greg Olsen vs. Washington Redskins

A bad game is on the horizon for him against Washington, who cover the tight end very well and struggle more on the outside. This could also end up being Carolinas first loss of the season.

Vernon Davis at Chicago Bears

I think Davis is close to having a big game with Denver, but it won’t be this week.

Stud of the Week: Denver Broncos at Chicago Bears

The Broncos will be getting Aqib Talib back. I’m looking for the defense to bounce back and force Jay Cutler into a few bad decisions.

Tennessee Titans at Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville Jaguars vs. Tennessee Titans

Both of these QBs are young, turn the ball over and take far too many sacks.

Dud of the Week: Kansas City Chiefs at San Diego Chargers

It’s not every week you get to play a debilitated Peyton Manning.

Carolina Panthers vs. Washington Redskins

This looks like a letdown game if I ever saw one. Kirk Cousins is playing well and the Redskins look decent.

Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers

The Vikings are great on defense, but Aaron Rodgers is going to figure it out this week, if I had to guess.
