The Denver Broncos are still riding high from their 30-24 victory over New England last Sunday, but that win came at a significant cost. Friday, head coach Gary Kubiak shared the Broncos final injury report heading into the weekend and it turns out they'll likely be missing four starters.
PROBABLE: C Matt Paradis (ankle), TE Virgil Green (finger), RT Michael Schofield (finger), QB Brock Osweiler (quad), TE Owen Daniels (knee), RB Ronnie Hillman (tooth), DE Vance Walker (shoulder), LG Evan Mathis (ankle), WR Cody Latimer (not injury related), ILB Corey Nelson (NIR), CB Lorenzo Doss (illness), WR Emmanuel Sanders (ankle)
There is still a chance that DeMarcus Ware might play vs. the San Diego Chargers. Kubiak talked about how the team will approach the situation on gameday.
“We’re going to work him out before the game, put him through a really good workout. It’s been a good week for him,” Kubiak said.
“Yeah, he [Ware] was really close," Kubiak continued. "He practiced well yesterday, even better today. I think he’s very confident. I think we kind of made up our mind yesterday that we’re going to stay the course. It’s not time yet.”
