DENVER, Colo.-Denver Broncos wide receiver Ed McCaffrey is in good condition at Swedish Medical Center following surgery. McCaffrey suffered a broken left tibia and fibula during the Broncos game against the New York Giants at INVESCO Field at Mile High on Monday, Sept. 10.
Orthopedic Surgeons Martin Boublik, M.D., and Theodore Schlegel, M.D.,successfully performed a two-hour surgery at Swedish Medical Center Monday night. McCaffrey will remain in the hospital for observation.
McCaffrey expressed gratitude for the support and well wishes received from family, friends and fans.
