Terrell Davis Was Snubbed Once Again From The 2016 Pro Football Hall Of Fame Class

Again, no Broncos were elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

Words fail me, as the news leaks out of San Francisco that once again, Terrell Davis has been snubbed from the Pro Football Hall of Fame.

All day long, the 50-member committee has been sequestered, making their respective arguments. With three former Denver Broncos in the final 15 candidates, it felt like this would be the year.

But Terrell Davis, Steve Atwater and John Lynch will have to wait. For Davis in particular, perhaps even the patience of Job will not save him. I could list all of Davis' accomplishments in the NFL, but I've done that many times before ad nauseam.

With the Broncos representing the AFC in Super Bowl 50, I hoped that it would help build momentum for Davis' Hall of Fame cause. Alas, he finds himself on the outside looking in.

Davis and Lynch both made the final 10 candidates. But only six wil get enshrined.

The Broncos HoF committee member, Jeff Legwold, shared some of his thoughts on the matter via Twitter.

Ultimately, our own Jake Marsing put things in perspective best.

Hopefully, the bitterness of this collective decision to snub the Broncos in the Hall of Fame will serve as another motivator for them tomorrow afternoon.
