Report: The Denver Broncos Will Host A Pre-Draft Visit With Duke WR Max McCaffrey On Tuesday

A familiar face is coming in for a visit to Dove Valley.

Max McCaffrey — son of legendary Denver wide receiver Ed McCaffrey and brother to Heisman Trophy runner-up Christian McCaffrey — is scheduled to have a pre-draft workout with the Broncos on Tuesday.

McCaffery, who stands at 6-foot-2 and weighs 202 pounds, wowed scouts at his pro day at Duke, running the 40-yard dash in 4.36 seconds. He also recorded a 36-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot-2-inch broad jump.

In 53 games (38 starts) at Duke, McCaffery caught 117 passes for 1,341 yards (11.46 avg) and 12 touchdowns. Nearly half of that output came in 2015 (his senior year), as he recorded 52 receptions for 643 yards (12.37 avg) and 5 TDs.

Denver football fans will remember Max as one of Valor Christian High School's brightest stars.
