Continuing with fullbacks, next up on Erick Trickel's list for scouting reports is a Northwestern prospect. Just what to make of the kid?

Overall Thoughts

Vitale, one of Trevor Siemian's top collegiate targets, is the top fullback in the class, and by a wide margin — if you ask me. There may be concerns about his ability to play at the NFL level, but he answers them on tape. His work ethic and competitive nature will keep him striving to get better. The sky's the limit for Vitale, and he will make whoever drafts him happy for years to come.

He can handle lead blocking, he can be a receiver out of the backfield, he can run the ball effectively, and he can do all of this from multiple points on the field. And to top it all off, he brings great special teams play. The Denver Broncos need a fullback and Vitale is a modern day NFL fullback built for the system Denver runs.

Broncos Round Projection: Late 4th

Where He Goes: Late 4th-Late 5th

Per sources: Vitale is well thought of through my scouting contacts and one coaches will fall in love with. He may go much higher than many will think a fullback should go.
