The Denver Broncos embarked on the beginning of Phase Two of their Offseason Training Program this week. In Phase Two, players are allowed to work with position coaches on the field, without live contact.
“Mark is a great guy," Siemian said Monday. "I have a year of experience in the offense. I’m doing whatever I can to help him out. He’s picking it up pretty quick. Like I said, just helping him out when I can.”
It's good to see tight end Jeff Heuerman, a 2015 third round pick who missed his rookie year with a torn ACL, back on the practice field.
Guys like wide receiver Jordan Taylor are making that next big push to earn a spot on the 53-man roster. And recently-signed offensive tackles Russell Okung and Donald Stephenson are practicing with the team for the first time outside the weight room.
Its good to see OT Ty Sambrailo back on the field, too, even though it is non-contact.
It's an exciting time of year. Rookie mini-camp will begin this weekend.
