Denver Broncos CB Aqib Talib Was Among Three Shot At Dallas Night Club

Broncos Pro Bowl cornerback Aqib Talib was reportedly among three people shot in a Dallas adult entertainment club Saturday night.

Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib was reportedly among three persons shot at a Dallas night club early Sunday morning.

The shots were the product of some altercation at Club Vlive, an adult entertainment establishment, and its unclear if Talib had anything to do with the incident, or if he was a bystander.

Talib suffered a minor leg injury and according to the Broncos, is still at Dallas' Medical City hospital under observation. The condition of the other shooting victims are unknown. And its currently unclear whether there have been any arrests made on the incident.

The Broncos are currently gathering information regarding the unfortunate episode. The team has issued a brief statement.

“We are in communication with Aqib Talib, who remains at a Dallas hospital for observation as he recovers from a gunshot wound suffered to his lower right leg on Sunday. He is expected to be released from the hospital soon, and we are glad he is OK and will make a full recovery.

“Our organization has been in touch with the NFL on this matter, and we will provide additional updates as appropriate.”

From the sounds of it, Talib was extremely lucky. The bullet wound required stitches only and missed any ligaments or arteries. A simple stitch-up job.

This isn't the first time Talib has found himself in hot water off the field as a Bronco. In April of 2015, Talib, and his brother Yaqub, had a run-in with the law. They were investigated for an aggravated assault incident at Club Luxx in Dallas.

Talib is entering his third season with the Broncos, after signing a six-year, $54 million contract. He's been elected to the Pro Bowl in both seasons in Denver and helped the Broncos build the 'No Fly Zone' secondary and win Super Bowl 50 .
