Denver Broncos Rookies Reported To 2016 Training Camp On Sunday

The Broncos crop of 2016 rookies reported to Dove Valley on Sunday.

On Sunday, Paxton Lynch officially began his bid to win the starting quarterback job of the defending World Champion Denver Broncos Denver's first round pick, along with all his fellow 2016 rookies, reported to Dove Valley for training camp on Sunday. Denver's crop of rookie talent will get a five-day jump on the veterans, who report later in the week.

Training camp officially kicks off on Friday, July 28, and it figures to be one of the most scrutinized in the John Elway era as Denver's top football executive.

The ensuing days will give each rookie the opportunity to get acclimated to Denver's elevation and a jump on assimilating the playbook. They got a taste of that earlier this spring and summer, at rookie mini-camp and then OTAs.

The rookies to keep an eye on as we head into camp include Lynch, second-round defensive end Adam Gotsis, third-round safety Justin Simmons, fourth-round running back Devontae Booker and seventh-round punter Riley Dixon

Denver's crop of undrafted rookies have a few standouts to monitor, as well, including receiver Bralon Addison, tight end Henry Krieger-Coble and outside linebacker Eddie Yarbrough
