Denver Broncos Release Ronnie Hillman

The Broncos parted ways with Ronnie Hillman Saturday.

The Denver Broncos have released veteran running back Ronnie Hillman. The news leaked as the deadline approached.

Hillman re-signed with Denver earlier this year, coming off a season where he led the team in rushing. The Broncos are keeping Kapri Bibbs, for now, along with Devontae Booker and C.J. Anderson

This move allows the Broncos to save $1.4 million of Hillman's $2 million salary in 2016. With an offset, they could save another $400,000.
