Von Miller Named AFC Defensive Player of the Month Of September

For the third time in his career, Von Miller has earned Conference Player of the Month honors.

Something has changed in Von Miller. Dating back to the 2015-16 playoff run, Miller has been unstoppable.

He's always been elite. But in the last six games of his career, Miller has turned the corner into absolute and utter dominance.

http://www.scout.com/nfl/broncos/story/1681565-5-reasons-you-should-go-p... The NFL informed the Denver Broncos Thursday that Miller has been named the AFC Defensive Player of the Month of September.

This award represents the third such of Miller's career, moving him past Champ Bailey for the most in team history. Miller finished three games in September with five sacks, 12 tackles (9 solo), three tackles for a loss, six quarterback hits, one pass defensed and one forced fumble.

The Broncos are 3-0, due in large part to Miller's efforts, especially late in games. He saves his best for last.

When most players are running on fumes, that's when Miller turns it up a notch. He leads the NFL in sacks and he's just getting started.

2016: the year of Von Miller.
