Vance Joseph arrived at Denver Broncos team headquarters at Dove Valley this morning around 11 a.m. He spent hours interviewing for Denver's head coaching vacancy.
Afterward, GM/V.P. of Football Operations John Elway tweeted this:
Again we hear about Joseph's leadership qualities, which clearly has drawn Elway and company to him. Joseph's "strong vision" of winning football is also an attribute that speaks to the Broncos.
The general consensus, however, is that if Joseph is allowed to leave the building, with interviews scheduled with the Los Angeles Rams, San Francisco 49ers and San Diego Chargers over the next two days, then the Broncos are focused on another candidate.
As of the writing of this article, Joseph is still reportedly at Dove Valley. Having been there since this morning, I've got to wonder what he's still doing in the building.
Is he negotiating a contract?
We'll know soon enough.
UPDATE: Although Woody Paige reported that Joseph was on his way out of Denver, headed to California, Mike Klis gave us some more concrete info.
