Insider Buzz: Denver Broncos 2017 Free Agency

We're keeping our ears to the floor, cultivating sources around the league to bring you the inside scoop on what the Broncos are doing in free agency.

The wheels are spinning for the Denver Broncos in Free Agency and we're here to give you some insider info as it all goes on.

According to our sources, MHH has learned the following:

• Broncos CB Kayvon Webster has been offered big money--at least $8 million per year--but would take less for the opportunity to start.

• The Broncos have offered Calais Campbell $13 million (a full million less than the Jaguars) who appears interested in coming home to Denver. The potential homecoming and the championship-caliber defense is being used to lure him to Denver.

• The Jets, Jaguars, 49ers, Bills, and Cardinals have all been in talks withe Broncos in order to acquire QB Trevor Siemian.

• Should the Broncos sign Campbell, the Jets will likely be out of the running for Siemian, as Sheldon Richardson is the crux of the proposed trade. The Jets may still try to acquire Siemian, but the Broncos would no longer need a 3-4 defensive end.

• The Broncos were engaged in talks with Packers G T.J. Lang, but shifted focus to G Ronald Leary to provide a familiar face for QB Tony Romo. Leary was the starting guard for the 2014 Cowboys, a team that advanced to the Divisional Round of the NFL Playoffs behind Romo.

• A deal for an offensive tackle is in the works, either Lions T Riley Reiff or T Russell Okung.

• Broncos were pursuing Redskins DT/NT Chris Baker, who instead chose to join the Buccaneers.

• Broncos are interested in Chiefs DT Dontari Poe, but for no more that $4 million per year. Poe wants $6 million.

• The Broncos are interested in Raiders T Menelik Watson.

• With Calais Campbell off the board, Sheldon Richardson once again becomes a trade possibility for Broncos.

• The Jets maintain interest in Broncos QB Trevor Siemian. However, another option for them is QB Jay Cutler, who was recently released ny the Bears. If Cutler is signed by the Jets, Siemian is obviously no longer an option.

• Kayvon Webster is likely signing a deal elsewhere. Bears, Dolphins, or Eagles.

• It appears the LB DeMarcus Ware is ready to return to Dallas.

• The Broncos are planning on adding a pass rusher.

• The Cowboys have not released Tony Romo. A source tells Mile High Huddle that Dallas wants a conditional day-three draft pick in exchange for Romo.

• The Rams are the favorites to sign Kayvon Webster, reuniting him with Wade Phillips.

UPDATE: The Rams signed Webster.
