Report: Running Back Jamaal Charles To Visit The Denver Broncos

A very familiar former Divisional foe is visiting the Broncos. Could Jamaal Charles end up in Denver?

The word "juice" has been bandied about in the Mile High City ad nauseum, since not long after Vance Joseph took the head coaching job. The Denver Broncos have been in search of that added boost, especially on offense.

The Broncos are just two days removed from the NFL Draft, where they selected four offensive skill-position players who do in fact bring mass amounts of "juice" to the team, including running back out of Coastal Carolina De'Angelo Henderson

However, the Broncos aren't done looking at all possible sources for more "juice".

Jamaal Charles wreaked havoc on the Broncos for seven of his nine seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs. The four-time Pro Bowler and three-time All-Pro left Kansas City as the club's all-time leading rusher, posting 7,260 yards rushing, 43 touchdowns and a whopping 5.5 yards per carry career average. However, despite being just 30 years old, Charles has been stricken by the injury bug. He has suffered grievous knee injuries, which caused him to appear in just eight games for the Chiefs over the last two seasons. Kansas City released him in February.

But, if his medicals check out, the Broncos could most certainly benefit from a healthy Jamaal Charles, even if he is — barely — on the wrong side of 30. After dealing Kapri Bibbs to San Francisco in a Draft Day trade, and selecting De'Angelo Henderson in the sixth round, the Broncos still have C.J. AndersonDevontae Booker and Juwan Thompson

Adding a prolific three-down back like Charles could pay dividends for the Broncos. And it would irritate the Chiefs something fierce.
