With the 2017 NFL Draft now in the books, and the scouting season officially over, the team has announced some further changes to the personnel department.
Tom Heckert: Senior Personnel Advisor
Heckert served as Denver's Director of Pro Personnel over the last four seasons. He has 27 years of experience in the NFL scouting game. When it comes to knowing and scouting current NFL talent, Heckert has been invaluable to GM John Elway.
A.J. Durso: Director of Pro Personnel
Durso steps into the position vacated by Heckert, after serving as the Assistant Director of Pro Personnel for the last two seasons. Durso has been with the Broncos since 2013 and has 10 years in the league.
Brian Stark: Director of College Scouting
Stark has served as an area and national scout for the Broncos and has been with the club for six seasons. Stark has a history in coaching as well, which gives him a unique insight into the collegiate scouting process.
Nick Schiralli: Eastern Regional Scout
Schiralli is entering his 10th season with the Broncos as a scout. He previously covered the Atlantic region for Denver.
Darren Mougey: Western Regional Scout
Mougey enters his sixth season with the Broncos and his third as an area scout. Originally hired as an intern back in 2012, Mougey has been involved in both the college and pro scouting realms and has worked his way up to a regional position.
Bryan Chesin: Midwest Area Scout
A former player personnel assistant, Chesin enters his fourth year with the Broncos. He was a video/operations assistant and former producer intern at NFL Films. Chesin also has a background in coaching.
Patrick Walsh: Player Personnel Assistant
Also a former coach, Walsh served as a personnel intern for the Broncos in 2016. Walsh is also a former offensive lineman for Sacramento State.
