Gardener dispute settled

Defensive tackle Daryl Gardener and the Broncos have settled their dispute without a shot being fired. The two sides agreed on a resolution before going to a scheduled arbitration hearing. Also in today's news, Denver signs a free agent quarterback.

Three times. Then they went their separate ways. "All I can say," Gardener said, "is that I am happy this is finally resolved." Gardener's Broncos career and a hearing to resolve his financial dispute with the team ended Wednesday without the need of an arbitrator.
