Terrell Davis lands TV gig

Former Denver Broncos running back Terrell Davis will team up with Dan Fouts as commentators on the NFL Network's preseason telecasts. They'll work three games, including the August 15 Denver v. Buffalo contest.

June 16, 2004 - NFL Network has hired veteran announcers Kenny Albert and Dan Fouts, plus newcomer Terrell Davis, as the on-air broadcast team that will call the network's three in-house produced preseason games this summer. "The production of live preseason games represents another first in the short history of NFL Network," said network president and CEO Steve Bornstein. "We have assembled a top-notch production crew and are excited about the opportunity to produce live NFL game coverage for the first time."

Wednesday, June 16, 2004 - On the heels of a forgettable 5-11 campaign, John Elway and the Denver Broncos entered the 1991 season looking to return to their championship form. After all, this was a quarterback and a team that had represented the American Football Conference in three of the previous four Super Bowls prior to the wheels coming off in '90. Thus, they entered the new season with high expectations, regardless of what had transpired the year before.
