Englewood, Colo. - The Denver Broncos have placed running back Olandis Gary on injured reserve and signed running back Karon Coleman to the active roster.
Gary, in his third season out of Georgia, broke the fibula in his left leg in Denver's 26-24 win over Dallas on Thanksgiving Day. He finished the season with 228 yards on 57 carries and one TD. He also caught four passes for 27 yards.
Coleman (5-7, 198 lbs.), out of Stephen F. Austin State, played in nine games with Denver last season, carrying 54 times for 183 yards and one
TD, scored in the last ever game at Mile High Stadium. He was released at the end of training camp this year. He played 40 games at Stephen F. Austin, rushing for 2,755 yards and 23 TDs. His dad, Ronnie, played eight seasons for the Houston Oilers. Coleman (5/22/78) was born in Missouri City, Texas.
