John Lynch To Award Student Athletes

Denver Broncos safety John Lynch honors local students who have excelled in academics, athletics and community service.

Denver Broncos Safety, John Lynch and his wife, Linda, will recognize outstanding local student-athletes at John Lynch Star of the Month Awards Ceremony.  The John Lynch Foundation hosts the event held at Broncos training facility in Dove Valley, scheduled for Monday, Oct. 11, 2004 at 5:00 pm.

Through the John Lynch Foundation, the Lynches create programs that develop quality young leaders.  The John Lynch Star of the Month program recognizes and rewards middle school and high school student-athletes in Cherry Creek and Denver Public Schools who have excelled in academics, athletics and community service.

The monthly program culminates at the end of each school year with the annual John Lynch Salutes the Stars luncheon, where each monthly winner becomes a candidate to win the John Lynch Star of the Year award.
