Broncos Encourage Halloween Spirit

The Denver Broncos are encouraging fans to come in costume to this weekend's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

The Denver Broncos are encouraging fans to get into the Halloween spirit and show up in costume for this Sunday's contest with the Atlanta Falcons.

As part of the team's popular "Most Valuable Tailgater" program, the Broncos will select three fans in the parking lots before the game to participate in an on-field costume contest at the two-minute warning of the first half. Based on crowd response, the fan with the best costume will then be named the Most Valuable Tailgater, and receive six tickets and three parking passes to the Nov. 7 game against the Houston Texans, the opportunity to party on the "MVT" pad adjacent to the stadium before the game, cases of Bud Light, Coca-Cola and Johnsonville brats, their name engraved on the "MVT" trophy and more.

"We don't want our fans to feel like they have to choose between the fun of attending a Broncos game and the fun of participating in Halloween," said Greg Carney, Broncos vice president of marketing. "By coming to the game in costume, people can have the best of both."

Fans are reminded that normal policies on prohibited items are still in effect for Sunday's game. A complete list of prohibited items is available on the stadium web site at in the Stadium Information section under Stadium Policies.
