Single game tickets go on sale Friday

Single game tickets for all 2005 Denver Broncos home games will go on sale beginning Friday, July 29, at 11 a.m. through Ticketmaster outlets and the Broncos' ticket office. This sale includes single-game tickets at all prices and 2,000 tickets discounted to half price, as mandated by Colorado legislation.

In addition to approximately 1,800 tickets available for public sale for each 2005 Broncos home game, 2,000 tickets will be sold at half price of the normal face value. The sale of the half-price tickets is in accordance with the Colorado legislation authorizing the funding and construction of INVESCO Field at Mile High. The 1,800 full-price tickets will be available for purchase at any Ticketmaster outlet (including Foley's and Christy Sports), Ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster Charge-By-Phone and the Broncos' ticket office. There is a limit of four tickets per person per game for full-price ticket purchasers.

"The system to sell and deliver half-price tickets was developed after consultation with Ticketmaster, the Metropolitan Football Stadium District and other teams to create a system that implements the spirit of the legislation," said Joe Ellis, the Broncos' executive vice president of business operations. "The majority of the Broncos' tickets are sold on a season-ticket basis, and fan interest is extremely high for single-game tickets. It has worked well in the past when we have utilized this plan, and we expect it to serve the public's interest well once again."

The sale of the 2,000 half-price tickets complies with the legislation and operating agreement with the Metropolitan Football Stadium District. The Broncos and the MFSD have implemented the following procedures for the purchase of the half-price tickets:

•The half-price tickets may ONLY be purchased through the Ticketmaster Charge–By– Phone system, through the Internet at www.Ticketmaster.com or in person at the Broncos' ticket office.

•Ticketmaster service charges apply for tickets purchased through Ticketmaster Charge-By-Phone or through the Internet.

•Buyers must have a valid U.S. Government photo ID or a valid foreign passport.

•There will be a limit of four tickets per person with no multiple-game purchases allowed. This will be verified by Ticketmaster by name and credit card usage — Buyers who attempt to circumvent this process will have all ticket orders canceled.

•All sales are final and there are no exchanges, cancellations or refunds.

•All tickets, including those purchased at the Broncos' ticket office, will be placed in the buyer's name at will call on the day of the purchased game.

•Will call opens two hours before game time.

•There will be no will call name changes for any reason.

•The buyer must present a valid U.S. government issued identification card or valid foreign passport to pick up tickets at will call.

•After claiming their half-price tickets on game day, buyers must go directly into the stadium.

"We are restricting ticket access to the buyer and making tickets available only on game day with a goal that the tickets are in the hands of only those who plan to attend the game," said Rick Nichols, the Broncos' vice president of ticket operations and business development. "As in the past when Broncos single-game tickets were made available, there is a wide assortment of prices, locations and seat groupings. There are single tickets at every price, but most of the tickets grouped together will be in pairs on our upper level."

Additionally:
•There will be a limited number of ADA seating for qualified patrons included in the half-price tickets. ADA patrons may call the Broncos' ADA hotline at (720) 258-3337. ADA ticket orders will be processed in order of their receipt beginning July 29 at 11 a.m.
•There also will be a limited number of club seats designated for single-game sales, which will be available beginning on July 29 at 11 a.m. There still are a limited number of club seats available for the 2005 season by license agreement. Parties interested in season club seats should contact the Broncos directly at (720) 258-3333.
•To purchase half-price tickets, fans may call Ticketmaster's Charge-By-Phone number at (303) 830-TIXS or (719) 520-9090, visit www.Ticketmaster.com or purchase tickets in person at the Broncos' ticket office at INVESCO Field at Mile High. Ticketmaster accepts American Express, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and Diners Club. A $9 convenience fee will apply for all tickets purchased over the phone or Internet in addition to a $3.30 per order handling fee.
•The Broncos' ticket office also will sell tickets concurrently and from the same inventory as Ticketmaster phone and online sales on July 29. The same limitations on ticket purchases and delivery will apply; however, the Broncos will waive Ticketmaster convenience fees for those who purchase tickets in person at the ticket office. Ticketmaster outlets will sell only full-price tickets (no half-price tickets), and Ticketmaster fees of $8 per ticket will apply.
•Tickets are available for purchase at all Ticketmaster outlets, including Christy Sports, select Foley's, Angelo CDs, the Denver Metro Convention and Visitors Bureau (1555 California St.) and Tower Records. Please contact retailer to confirm hours of operation.
•For best results, the Broncos recommend the online option to avoid long lines while gaining access to the same ticket inventory.
•The Broncos' ticket office is located at INVESCO Field at Mile High between gates 9 and 10 near the sculpture, "The Broncos."

No ticket-purchase lines will be allowed to form at INVESCO Field at Mile High until 90 minutes before tickets go on sale at 11 a.m. on Friday, July 29. Those potential ticket buyers assembled in lines will then select a place in a ticket-buying line by a random number drawing.

Regardless of where they were situated before the drawing, customers will assemble in order with the lowest drawn number being first in line. The ticket-buying line numbers will be drawn at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 29.
