Defensive tackle Mario Fatafehi suffered, what is currently being classified as a possible second-degree torn MCL, which could sideline the fifth-year veteran a minimum of one to three weeks.
The injury occurred as the team was practicing its' goal-line situation drills during this morning's practice at Dove Valley.
"We believe, at least right now without taking a MRI, the doctor's believe that it's a second degree MCL, which can have him out anywhere from one week to three weeks," Mike Shanahan reported.
"We'll find out for sure, the MRI is going on right now and as soon as we know, we will let you know."
Fatafehi, who was signed by Denver 7/29/03, worked his way into a full-time starting position last year, starting all sixteen games for the Broncos in 2004, posting 31 tackles and tying a personal best in sacks with 2.5.
