ENGLEWOOD, Colo.--The Denver Broncos announced on Wednesday that the team has signed free agent wide receiver Frank Rice to a contract for the 2002 season.
Rice (6-0, 180 lbs.) was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on 4/23/01,
was placed on injured reserve (right knee) on 8/14/01 and waived by the Bucs on 4/17/02.
Rice a four-year letterman at Colorado State University, posted 82 career receptions for 1,258 yards and 13 TD's. Rice earned All-WAC honorable
mention honors from the WAC coaches as a senior.
Rice was born February 2, 1978 in Lynwood, California.
