Widely regarded as an elite offensive tackle in the 1980s and the 1990s, Zimmerman has been eligible for induction to the Pro Football Hall of Fame for four years. The team has started work on a renegotiated deal for left tackle Matt Lepsis, according to a source. Broncos coach Mike Shanahan said Nalen and Lepsis were among his top off-season priorities.
