Denver Broncos cornerback Darrent Williams was cited for playing his car stereo too loud and a passenger in his car was arrested for possession of marijuana, late Sunday night in Fort Worth, Texas.

According to a police report, officers planned to detain Williams after finding a green leafy substance, believed to be marijuana, inside his car but instead arrested his passenger, 19-year old DeAngelo Stevenson, after he admitted that "the weed's mine."

Police came close to breaking out the tazer on Williams after he initially resisted officers' attempts to handcuff him during the investigation.

The rookie Cornerback was later released, charged only with a traffic citation for loud music, after Stevenson gave both a written and verbal statement admitting that the marijuana was his.
